FORTY? Holy crap that's dangerously brisk!

35 is also a popular merging speed for these types.

srsly? You better drive faster. The on ramps are my personal racetrack.

Right lane is usually empty on North American highways anyways, that's how they seem to get away with it.
Now imagine these types visiting Germany...

Even on my slightly lifted Jeep I'm doing more than that. On ramps are the only place where crazy acceleration is a-ok with the police.

25-30 in Tampa. That is, they get up to 35-40 on the on-ramp, then when they get into the traffic lane they hit the brakes. Right there:

I remember a minivan stopped on the acceleration lane. I followed them to a rest stop and berated them in front of a bus full of tourists headed to Atlantic City.

Not in New England...
Here its brake or die to these horrid Mom mobiles... almost ate a semi trailer swerving a few days ago from one pulling out though my HORN AND HIGH BEAMS were on for a good 3-4 seconds before she pulled it, I even saw it coming... Horrifyingly dangerous

Good old I-275...

Around here (Iowa side of the Quad Cities) they may hit 40 but then they hit the f-ing brakes before the merge.
"Oh dear. That might be a car coming a half mile back. I better stop just to be safe."
Assholes. All of them..

Well to be fair, you have so many lane choices there... it is so confusing...
Tampa is really easy to drive in if you know where you are going...

I touch at least 120 before hitting the highway. This makes my day in the morning.

Ugh. I will never understand people still traveling under the speed limit when merging.
The general population don't seem to understand that a faster entry speed is safer and prevents slowing down traffic.
I don't always haul ass, but when I do it's on the entry ramp.

People are oblivious to horns, flashing lights, hazard lights, etc. It's just ridiculous.

You sir, are doing God's work. Carry on.

That weave on the northbound side between the river and the I-4 split is a traffic-clogging mess. It's gotten to the point on my trips that when I'm in Tampa and going back out to Lakeland that I'm taking Columbus Avenue etc...

My dad's Honda Fit was bought in Red for the very purpose of being very noticeable...
It is plain ridiculous

Not around here. They'll fuck you in the ass for anything. They've started sitting right by the ramp on the freeway entrance near me, I hate it. I used to fly up to about 100 before getting on.

No. We should all band together to yell at bad drivers. This is how we make the world a better place.

I once told a woman - who was on her cell phone and swerving all over the road - that not only should she put down her phone and learn how to drive, but her dog was fat as well.

good ol' malfunction junction.
at least it's not as bad as going southbound thru the same area now, after i4 merges back into i275, everybody seems to just instinctively stop.
